feature / birmingham magazine

Just like everyone else in 2020, we very quickly had to say goodbye to a lot of exciting upcoming events. When COVID-19 hit us in Alabama, I was working to wrap my head around the fact that our first ever e&o popup with Madewell in three weeks was going to be cancelled.

Between that long awaited opportunity & the swift cancellation/pivoting of our freaking wedding (!!), I didn’t even have time to think about the fact that two of the magazines who I had recently interviewed for (Birmingham Magazine & Alabama Journeys) had decided to cancel their print versions this year in response to the pandemic.

Regardless of these transitions, the incredibly sweet Tara Massouleh of Birmingham Magazine went ahead & uploaded our feature onto AL.com! I am so grateful for Tara & Birmingham Magazine still doing what they can to focus on and lift up small businesses in our special community.

Be sure to check out our feature! Sure, it isn’t in print as excepted, but we are all doing what we can these days. Somewhat surprisingly, our digital wedding was such a special, memorable day!
